February half term ideas
Here’s our roundup of low cost or free activities happening locally to entertain the kids this February half term.
The Belfry, Redhill
- Character event on Saturday 10th February from 10am – 4pm the Belfry will be filled with characters spreading the word about autism acceptance and inclusion. Run by Autism All Stars Foundation.
- Ping Pong Parlour – on the ground floor of The Belfry and it’s free to play.
County Mall, Crawley
- Pirate adventure at County Mall from Friday 9 – Sunday18th February. Pick up your trail, find the letters scattered with ship pieces and figure out where the fold is hidden and get your chocolate coin prize.
Gatton Park
- Snowdrop Day: visit the gardens on Sunday 11th February from 12-5pm to see the beautiful display of snowdrops. Online booking £6 per person, children are free.
- Trails and Tales ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ running on Wednesday 14th and Friday 16th February. £8.50 per child.
Honeywood Museum, Carshalton
- Millie’s Terrific Transport Trail with fun crafts from Saturday 10th – Saturday 17th February. Tickets are £3 per child.
Horley Community Centre
- Leafy Learners on Tuesday 13th February from 10:30am – 12pm.
- Animazing on Thursday 15th February from 11am – 12:30pm. A chance for children aged 4-10 years to get closer to nature. £7 per child.
Horley Library
- Tuesday 13th February from 2:30-3:30pm Silhouettes and Sunsets workshop. A creative workshop for children aged 5-10 years to find out about endangered animals. Free event.
- Wednesday 14th February from 2-4pm Valentine’s Day heart craft. No need to book, for ages 3+. £1 per child
- Thursday 15th February from 2:30-3:30pm LEGO club. No need to book, for ages 6+. £1 per child.
- Friday 16th February from 10:30-11:30am Storytime and craft. No need to book, for ages 3+. £1 per child.
Woodhatch Community Centre
- LEGO club on Wednesday 14th February from 2-3pm. Free play, games and challenges for ages 5-12. £4 per child.
