Our gas contractor Gas Call Services rename as Sureserve Compliance
Since October 2023 we have been working with Gas Call Services to service and maintain the heating systems in your home.
We’re pleased to report that by working together we have been able to achieve 100% gas safety compliance for 2024. Your safety is our priority and we appreciate your support in working with us to allow access to your home to carry out these important safety checks and repairs.
To ensure the ongoing best possible levels of service, Gas Call Services has joined the Sureserve Group. This means that the company name has changed from Gas Call Services to Sureserve Compliance.
What does this mean for me?
The only thing that is changing is the company name. There are no changes to the team delivering their services to you.
All of the contact details will remain the same.
Phone number
There is no change to the phone number. Please continue to phone 0330 002 1169 to report gas boiler repairs and arrange annual gas safety checks. The recorded message when you call this number says: “Thank you for calling Sureserve Compliance North, formerly Gas Call Services…”
Email address
No change, you can continue to email on RavenHousing@gascall.co.uk although any replies you receive will now come from a @sureserve.co.uk email address.
Letters
When you receive your servicing appointment letter it will still have the Gas Call logo on it but we will explain at the bottom of the letter about the name change and what the new logo will look like.
Engineers
All engineers carry Gas Safe ID cards. These will be updated to Sureserve in April 2025. Engineers will only visit your house if they have an appointment. If in doubt, always call Gas Call / Sureserve to check using 0330 002 1169.
Uniforms and Vans
Sureserve uniforms and vans will be brought into service when we are sure that everyone has been informed of the new name change. We expect this will be around April 2025. Until then you can continue to expect to see the usual dual branded Raven / Gas Call uniforms and vans.
Legal documentation
Legal documents such as Landlords Gas Safety Certificates will have the name “Sureserve Compliance North Limited” on them. This is to ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations.
Despite this name change, it remains business as usual and the service will continue to be delivered and for a while you’ll continue to see the Gas Call logo on letters, uniform and vans. We’ll provide further updates in Raven Times, here on the Raven website and on our Raven Facebook page, when we fully replace the Gas Call logo with the Sureserve Compliance logo.
