We’re now a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower network member

Proud to support the Sunflower for individuals with hidden disabilities

We’re delighted to announce that we’re now a member of the global Hidden Disabilities Sunflower network. The Sunflower supports and raises awareness of those living with a non-visible disability, including autism, anxiety, chronic pain or a visual or hearing impairment. The Sunflower is for all, covering employees, and customers with hidden disabilities, and those with a hidden disability can choose to discrete wear a Sunflower to indicate they may need additional support or assistance.

We encourage you to advise us if you have a non-visible disability, or if you’d prefer, you can choose to discretely wear a Sunflower product such as a lanyard or badge so that we can support you. This shows your need for additional support, assistance with activities, or just to simply have more time.

Our employees are receiving training about hidden disabilities to deepen their understanding of how these conditions may make everyday experiences challenging. This training is invaluable when working with one another and also when delivering our services to you, so we can make sure we can support you in a way best suited to your needs.

As a Disability Confident Committed Employer, we’re dedicated to being a truly inclusive organisation with equity and accessibility a key priority throughout our culture and processes. Joining the Sunflower network is part of our continuous review of how we support our colleagues and you, our customers, even better.
