Shaping the future of the Preston area in Tadworth

As part of our commitment to building homes and changing lives, we play an active role within our local communities, this includes engaging with communities to look at and understand ways to improve the homes and open spaces we own and manage.

Raven owns and maintains over a thousand homes in the Preston area, and we’re writing to all residents in the area as we’re currently thinking about what could be improved in the neighbourhood, especially in the Raven homes and shared open spaces.

We know that there have been discussions and surveys over recent years, and we’ve seen some positive changes in the area including the new park, new housing, and more parking spaces.

We’re keen to build on this feedback as well as undertaking a fresh round of engagement to kick off some ideas for longer-term investment in the area. We see this as the beginning of a process where we work with the community, and hopefully Reigate and Banstead Borough Council and other housing providers in the area over the coming years. This will be a long-term collaborative design process, but we will keep you updated and ask for your thoughts along the way

Community survey

We want to make sure any future plans we construct are based on what we hear the community genuinely needs. Over the next few weeks, we will be gathering feedback from everyone in the area (whether you’re a Raven customer or not) with a survey and a series of events to hear your views on the Preston area.

The survey will help us understand your views on your homes, your shared outdoor spaces and any opportunities for improvements in your area, finding out what currently works well and looking at what could be made better.

This survey is aimed at all members of the community, not just Raven tenants, and is available at www.givemyview.com/prestontadworth.
